About Me
Hi, I’m Courtney Ramirez, a veteran, mental health professional, and passionate advocate for accessible psychiatric care—especially in rural communities.
I was born in Iowa and raised in Georgia, where I developed a deep appreciation for hard work, service, and community. My medical career began in the Army, where I trained in combat medicine and provided care to fellow service members. After spending time helping people with both medical and emotional challenges, I realized that mental health was my true calling. Determined to make a difference, I pursued my education while still in the military, earning my BSN in 2014.
After my military service, I worked as an RN in various hospital settings, where I witnessed firsthand the gap between medical and psychiatric care—and how the mind-body connection is often overlooked in treatment. These experiences solidified my decision to specialize in mental health, ensuring patients receive the holistic, compassionate care they deserve.
Now, my mission is to provide personalized, evidence-based psychiatric care that helps individuals navigate life’s challenges with the support and tools they need to thrive. Whether you’re starting your mental health journey, seeking medication management, or need adjustments to your current care, I’m here to help.
I’m especially passionate about serving fellow veterans and bridging the mental health care gap in rural communities—because everyone, no matter where they live, deserves access to high-quality mental health care.
I’m honored to serve those who have served—and to support those in need. Let’s take this step together.
